Hirepool has undergone a 5-year digital transformation including an ERP replacement as part of the roadmap. We have reached a phase (2 years post ERP), where we believe the role of an ERP and Applications Specialist will be critical to the ongoing success of our business and IT.

We are looking for a self-starter who likes to get into details from the grass roots, while also being able to liaise with business teams and keep the big picture in mind. As a small, dedicated and hard-working team, we are looking for someone to complement our existing skillset with their own strong mix of skills; someone who can wear multiple hats and have the confidence and experience to take the lead and ownership of our ERP application. You will manage updates, upgrades, enhancements of features, design new features (with our vendors), enable defect fixes and also look into integrating other applications to the ERP in future. To enable you to do this, you will be supported by vendors and the IT team. You will understand how the system operates, and various business rules and processes to help you manage the backlog and prioritise. You will become the go-to person for all topics related to the ERP application and a couple of other key applications.

This role will report to the Head of Delivery.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• c12 years of experience in IT (requirements, design, implementation, product ownership)
• Strong technical background including SQL skills.
• Strong business analysis skills showcased through project work including APIs
• Any ERP application knowledge is preferred - not as a user but as a specialist.
• The ability to run requirement meetings, stakeholder management, vendor management, and manage User Acceptance Testing sessions.
• Technical and process solutions experience with multiple stakeholders and vendors is necessary. So is API experience with web technologies .
• MS Business Central experience will be an added advantage.
• Agile in thought and action but with attention to detail
• Think for internal and external customers. Be service delivery oriented.
• Showcase ability to multiple-task
• Finance and accounting knowledge would be helpful.
