Event Account Manager

Great opportunity within the music industry, working with concert and event promoters and producers around the motu.

APRA AMCOS is all about fostering respect and value for songs and songwriters. We help music creators get paid for their work and give people easy ways to legally play and copy music.

We are looking for a proactive, confident individual to play a key role in licensing music use at concerts, festivals and major events. This is a permanent full-time role based in Tāmaki Makaurau with flexible and hybrid working options.

As a member of the Concert & Events team, this position is responsible for working together with Event Promoters and Producers in the licensing of events – including the administration from initial query through to invoicing and payment. This involves obtaining performer set lists and finalising all paperwork for accurate distribution payments to songwriters.

Key attributes:

·        Confident communication skills, both written and spoken

·        Proven account management experience

·        Excellent organiser, detail orientated and able to meet deadlines

·        Appreciation of the value of music
