EWP Technician

We are searching for an experienced and motivated EWP Technician to join our small team in East Tamaki.

About the role:

Overseeing the workshop and yard to ensure our machinery fleet is well maintained, serviced and certified “ready for rental” within agreed service level timeframes.

We would love to talk to you if you:

• Experience in a similar role working with EWP's or relevant transferrable skills
• An electronics qualification and relevant experience – able to certify equipment
• Mechanical experience – diesel and petrol machinery (ideally qualified)
• Hold a current electrical testing “test and tag” certification
• Are physically fit (be able to lift up to 20kg) and comfortable with manual labour
• Good communication skills: written and verbal
• Comfortable interacting with customers
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently
• Are reliable, punctual and honest always
• A positive, can-do attitude, willing to go the extra mile
• Strong customer service and delivery focus always
• Good time management and prioritisation skills
• Hold a clean class 1 driver's licence and have the ability to get to work.

Preferred

• Hold a class 2 or class 4 truck licence to assist with deliveries from time to time.

A little about us:

UP2IT Access Hire is a successful, access hire equipment company based in East Tamaki. Our equipment is centred around Elevated Work Platforms: Cherry Pickers, Scissor Lifts, Knuckle, Telescopic Booms, Mast lifts to name a few.
