In proud partnership with Water New Zealand, we seek an experienced Executive Assistant and Association Secretary to join their growing, forward thinking team as a trusted Advisor, and right-hand person to their Chief Executive. More about the role
This role will have two key aspects: providing superior executive administrative support to the Chief Executive and fulfilling the responsibilities of the Board secretary for the Association.
As the Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive your responsibilities will include:
In your role as the Association Secretary, you will;
In addition, you will get to coordinate the annual association awards process and presentation. This person get to travel to Board meetings (typically day trips 6 times a year) and support the Chief Executive and Board, and organisation representative at their well-attended annual week-long conference hosted at various locations across New Zealand annually.
About you
The right person will be an experienced Executive Administrator and Board Secretary who is at their best in an agile, fast paced environment. As an organised extraordinaire, you will bring well-defined systems and processes to share and embed. You will have an eye for detail and always look for the "what next!". You will enjoy autonomy in your role and possess a deep understanding and respect of the sensitivity of your position as the trusted advisor to the Chief Executive.
This person will get to travel for Board meetings (typically day trips 6 times a year) and support the Chief Executive and Board, and organisation representative at their well-attended annual week-long conference hosted at various locations across New Zealand annually. Therefore, you will require flexibility for this travel.
