About the role
As an experienced EA you’ll enjoy using your skills in providing professional high quality executive level support directly to our Chief Executive. The role is critical in ensuring the CE can focus on what matters most and you’ll enjoy a variety of work in an organisation that supports so many tamariki, rangatahi and whānau across Aotearoa, including attending and taking effective minutes at meetings. You will work to ensure the delivery of quality support at executive and Board levels.
Your organisational skills will be second to none, and you will be quickly foster connections across Barnardos to ensure our governance, strategic and operational leaders are well supported to do their work.
You will
This role is a 12-month fixed term role covering parental leave, starting in early August 2024. We are open to flexible work between 32 – 40 hours negotiable with the successful applicant.

Some experience in a community service organisation, Government or the not-for-profit sector would be ideal but not essential.
