Executive Assistant to GM Policy & Communications

This is a varied and rewarding position where you'll be at the centre of a busy and influential team. You'll provide executive support to the General Manager Policy & Communications while also delivering administrative coordination across the wider team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing complex diaries, meetings and travel arrangements


• Coordinating internal and external meetings, workshops, stakeholder events and farm visits


• Preparing agendas, papers, minutes and presentation materials


• Supporting board reporting and documentation processes


• Providing financial administration, invoice processing and expense management


• Maintaining stakeholder information and supporting team communications


• Contributing to team projects and working collaboratively with the wider B+LNZ administration team.

About you

You'll be an experienced Executive Assistant or Personal Assistant who enjoys building trusted relationships and anticipating what needs to happen before being asked.  You'll bring:

• Previous experience supporting senior leaders in a professional environment


• Outstanding organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities


• Strong judgement, initiative and attention to detail


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills


• Advanced proficiency across Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Teams, Word and PowerPoint


• Financial administration experience, including invoice processing and reconciliations


• A customer-focused mindset and a collaborative approach


• The ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

This role is based in our Wellington office.
