The opportunity

We have a unique opportunity for an experienced EA to join our CE’s Office as a key team member. As the Executive Services Officer you will act as a central point of contact and provide high quality, timely support to the CE to ensure that their time is managed efficiently.

About you

As a professional EA with experience supporting senior leaders in large organisations, you will be proactive, agile, customer focussed and committed to continuous improvement.

Working closely with our small team, you will be adept at a wide range of administrative and executive support related tasks, including managing schedules, coordinating travel, assessing and anticipating changing priorities and dealing with confidential matters sensitively to ensure efficient use of the CE’s time.

Skills and experience

  • Proven experience as an executive assistant supporting senior leaders
  • Exceptional time management skills, calendar management and meeting coordination
  • Expert user in Microsoft office and products
  • Excellent interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to manage relationships at all levels including officials in Ministers offices and sector leaders
  • Proven experience in managing travel arrangements and detailed itineraries
  • Sound knowledge of financial systems and managing invoicing and financial reporting
  • An understanding of the machinery of government
  • Outstanding problem solving skills with the ability to assess and prioritise risk and escalate as appropriate
