The Role
Located in Rolleston (20 minutes from Christchurch), you will play a pivotal role in leading and driving the New Zealand arm of GBV's growth strategies, ensuring organisational excellence across production, operations, commercial, sales, marketing and HSE. Reporting to the Group President, you will be responsible for leading 110+ team members, fostering an entrepreneurial culture and achieving key performance objectives, including operational excellence and maintaining profitability. A key focus will be on increasing production output to meet rising global demand through the continued implementation of best practice manufacturing methods and cost effective strategies.
  
Skills and Experience
To excel in this role, you will likely have a background in manufacturing operations, preferably in a growth oriented and precision engineering environment. You will be able to demonstrate business leadership skills, a keen understanding of commercial principles and the ability to execute business plans effectively. In addition, you will have the ability to oversee financial performance, have a strong focus on health and safety, quality assurance and operational excellence. Effective communication and team building skills are essential, as you will be leading an expanding team.
