Summit Steel & Wire is a division of Euro Corporation Limited; a proudly New Zealand owned and operated and  are a market leader in the rural and construction sectors. Summit Steel & Wire manufacture and distribute a wide range of high-quality steel products including wire farm fencing which are exported around the globe. 

In this role you will be tasked with optimising sales by managing the customer interface and using your international freight and logistics experience to support our rural products in international markets.

This role will suit someone who enjoys the diversity of trading in different cultures, flexible work hours and is able to respond quickly to communications for differing time zones. 

To be successful in this role you will need to be friendly, approachable, disciplined, self-motivated and possess a high attention to detail. You will need to be competent in using Microsoft based software, particularly excel.  You will need to demonstrate a successful track record in relationship management and international freight and logistics

Ideally you will have:

• A tertiary qualification in business or international business.
• Excellent computer skills – specifically competent with excel functionality.
• Demonstrable excellent relationship-building track record.
• Ability to self-motivate and work autonomously.
• At least 2 years experience with international freight and logistics
• Experience in the rural sector and/or rural fencing products would be an advantage
