We are excited to be joining the neighbourhood with our new Whitianga Warehouse Stationery store!
The Warehouse Group looks after some of Aotearoa’s iconic brands - The Warehouse, Warehouse Stationery, and Noel Leeming. Our brands mean a lot to us and our customers because we’re always working to deliver relevant and exciting customer experiences to New Zealanders.
This will be a small but mighty store, focused on serving specialist art & craft needs, along with local businesses with their office and tech needs.

Keyholder (The 3IC):
You’ll be the reliable pair of hands working alongside the Store Manager and Assistant Manager to keep things running smoothly day-to-day. This includes being responsible for opening and closing the shop. You’ll split your time between this and our Copy Centre. We’re looking for someone with solid retail experience who is dependable, personable, and has a knack for keeping a team motivated.

Our customers rely on us for all sorts of creations, ranging from: passport photos, printing holiday snaps, binding documents, or helping with those general print projects. Our Copy Centre team is known for being helpful and approachable. If you’re patient, a people person, and have a flair for tech or creative tasks, you’ll fit right in.

Technology:
This role will see you help our customers with their tech needs - figuring out what tech will actually work for them, no confusing jargon, just helpful advice. If you’re a bit of a tech enthusiast or keen to learn, this role may be a fit.

Stockroom:
You’re the engine room of the store. You’ll make sure our shelves are well-stocked and looking great, so customers can easily find what they need. You’ll handle inward goods, keep the stockroom ship-shape, and manage our recycling and waste properly. We’re looking for someone focused, efficient, and happy to roll up their sleeves and work well with the rest of the team.
Note for this role it is likely to be 25 hours a week, 5 hours a day, Monday to Friday.
All of our roles differ in responsibilities but overall we are looking for key traits. For us, reliability, all round strong customer service skills and a willingness to continuously learn is key. We would welcome some previous retail experience or customer service, as we build our new team.
