Job Description - Facilities & Asset Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Facilities & Asset Coordinator to join our team in a permanent part-time capacity, based from central Merivale. Hours of work are 6 per day, to be agreed with the successful candidate, within the service hours of 7am and 5pm Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining and updating our asset management database
  • Prequalifying contractors prior to working on site and management of them to ensure quality control and delivery of SLA's
  • Setting up preventative maintenance tasks and Issuing jobs to contractors
  • Identifying and reporting on risks and issues relating to Health & Safety, compliance, or asset performance
  • Ensuring all properties have current BWOF certificates & compliance schedules. 
  • Coordinating with contractors for the issue of 12A's
  • Managing service providers to ensure processes, records and reports for assets are current and updated
  • Preparing yearly plans for asset replacement and upgrades

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Asset Management (or coordination) experience for buildings and/or Infrastructure
  • Strong knowledge of 'through life' asset management
  • Strong numerical and data analysis skills
  • Effective communication and Relationship/ Stakeholder Management skills
