Facilities Operator

Transitioning Auckland's transport network on such a mammoth scale is no mean feat and we need a talented team to ensure we are up to this task. We are seeking a Facilities operator to join our North/West team to ensure that public transport facilities are fit for purpose and continually maintained to a high standard.We're looking for someone with a can-do attitude, enjoys working in a fast paced operations environment and responding to network disruptions. Te Whiwhinga mahi?- The Opportunity Working across bus and ferry sites assigned stations daily or as required, identifying any hazards, safety issues and maintenance issues.Liaising and working with contractors by giving accurate information in reports to ensure any maintenance problems are dealt with as quickly as possible.Being an advocate for customer experience and always looking for opportunities to improve customer satisfaction.Investigating and responding to public complaints regarding facilities, especially where security and safety are possible factors. Ko?koe?tenei?| About you Minimum 3 years working at Auckland TransportExperience working in an operational environmentFamiliarity with Public TransportFrontline customer service role dealing with contractors and the general public.Comfortable lone working on the networkIdeally some experience in asset maintenance or facilities operationsFull Drivers licenceNCEA Level 3, certificate, diploma, graduate diploma, or relevant bachelor's degree.
