Reporting directly to the General Manager - Manufacturing, you will play a key leadership role in producing and distributing our quality fibreglass swimming pools across New Zealand and to export customers. Your proven manufacturing experience, attention to detail, strong leadership skills and cost control management will demonstrate your ability to deliver the world's best pools and bring our client’s dreams to life.
Your day will involve:
- Managing the production and dispatch of pools to meet franchisee requirements and schedules
- Communication with our group of franchisees
- Managing the financial performance of the facility with a strong focus on cost management and optimising efficiencies
- Leading the facility team, fostering a well-trained and motivated team that deliver
- Monitoring the performance of the team and ensuring that we are providing feedback and celebrating success.
- Ensuring that all safety procedures are embedded, followed and improved were necessary
- Maintaining high levels of quality in the pools we supply
About you;
- Have a minimum of three years' experience managing a manufacturing or production environment
- Be passionate, with attention to detail in every area of producing quality pools
- Demonstrate effective leadership and communication skills
- Have the ability to build strong rapport with a wide range of stakeholders including our franchisees
- Demonstrated ability in cost effective production, through effective use of labour, materials and equipment resources
- Have a proven track record of hiring, training and developing a team to deliver results
- Have experience with Quality Management Systems
- Be a disciplined Manager who operates with integrity
- Experience in fibreglass and lean manufacturing is preferred but not essential
