Family Lawyer

Exciting opportunity to join our Family Law Team 

About the Role:

Due to one of our Family Team lawyers about to start her OE, we are seeking a confident and approachable Family Lawyer ideally with 2-6 years PQE and a passion to serve our clients well as they deal with sensitive family matters.  The role involves a wide range of private client and legal aid family law, to provide sound legal advice and representation in private negotiations, mediations and court appearances. 

As our family team work collaboratively, this is a full-time in office role with the opportunity for flexibility as required.

About You:

• An empathetic family lawyer with 2+ years PQE experience in family law.
• A good knowledge of family law processes and procedures.
• Experience as a legal aid provider is beneficial, but not essential.
• Great communication skills and able to provide clear, concise and sound legal advice.
• Able to demonstrate initiative, common sense and a desire to help solve problems.
• Ability to work autonomously with a strong work ethic and drive to get the job done.
• Great organisational skills and an exceptional attention to detail. 
• A desire to build strong relationships with your clients, SCO team members and relevant external parties.
• Willing to mentor and be mentored as required as well as helping out other colleagues when needed.
