Delighted to be working on behalf of this brilliant firm based in the Waikato as they look to go through a growth phase and expand their wonderful team. This firm has been serving the Waikato community for many years and has a well establishes team that provide the best service to their loyal client base. They are now looking for a junior to intermediate family solicitor to join their team.



About the opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced family solicitor looking to gain more experience and get brilliant mentorship from an excellent senior of the firm which will provide you with an excellent balance of wonderful exposure and support from the team.


In this role you will be working across a variety of family matters including relationship property, parenting issues, domestic violence, care of children, and protection of personal and property rights, to name a few. As this is a boutique firm you will gain excellent exposure you may not be provided in a larger firm while also getting brilliant mentorship from a Partner of the firm. However, you also will get the opportunity to mentor junior team members.



About you

• A qualified family solicitor with around 4+ years of experience under your belt.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• An empathetic nature that allows you to relate well to your clients, particularly during what can be a tough time.
• The ability to work well independently and within a team.
• Great example for junior team members and the ability to provide mentorship when needed.
• Strong academic transcript.
