Integrated Foods Limited (IFL) is part of the Integrated Foods Group—an international food processing and agribusiness with large-scale farming operations and boutique lamb processing sites in Gisborne and Napier.
IFL are seeking a forward-thinking Farm Systems & Compliance Lead to drive innovation, environmental stewardship, and operational performance across our farming business.
This is a newly established role, offering a unique opportunity to shape systems, influence strategy, and make a meaningful impact from the ground up.
Reporting to the General Manager – Livestock, you will lead the development and integration of farm systems, innovation, and environmental compliance.
You’ll work closely with internal teams and external parties to bring new ideas to life, turning data and innovation into real, on-farm results.
What You’ll Be Doing
Strategy & Continuous Improvement
Contribute to farm systems, innovation, and environmental strategy
Identify opportunities to improve performance, efficiency, and sustainability
Champion a culture of continuous improvement
Systems & Innovation
Implement new technologies and data-driven systems
Lead digital integration and reporting across farm operations
Turn innovation into practical, scalable solutions
Drive a “measure, monitor, manage” mindset
Environmental Compliance
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations
Maintain and implement farm environment plans
Monitor and report on environmental performance
Lead improvements in sustainable farming practices
Infrastructure & Projects
Manage capital projects (fencing, water, yards, tracks, tech infrastructure)
Oversee budgets, timelines, and contractors
Improve infrastructure to support productivity and safety
Health & Safety
Promote and uphold a strong safety culture
Ensure compliance with H&S policies and best practices
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
Strong understanding of environmental compliance and farm planning
Experience implementing technology or data systems
Proven project management capability
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Desirable:
Background in farming systems, livestock, or agriculture
Experience working with industry bodies or research organisations
