Great opportunity for somebody with a background in electrical, mechanical, electronics, avionics, biomedical or similar looking to work on cutting-edge technology.

This role offers a unique blend of hands-on training locally in Australia and internationally, empowering you with knowledge and skills. You will be required to work across our Varian and Siemens Healthineers business’ working with Radiation Therapy and Diagnostic Imaging systems.

A day in the life:

• Predominantly based out of Whangarei hospital although travel to customer sites across NZ as required
• Performing preventative maintenance, updates, upgrades, corrective service, and installations
• Working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and timely service delivery.
• Maintaining and expanding your knowledge through continuous training, including self-learning, computer-based courses, mentorship and hands-on experience
• Adhering to all Environmental, Health & Safety policies

About you:

• The successful candidate will be trade qualified or university degree
• Hold at a minimum restricted electrical licence or able to obtain
• Happy to work autonomously
• Hold an unrestricted driver’s licence
• Available to work overtime and weekends when required.
• Able to travel across state, interstate and overseas.
• Be able to provide evidence of your permanent work rights in New Zealand.
