We are seeking a Finance Business Partner to join our team. In this role, you will contribute to the development and implementation of business improvement projects, assist in financial planning processes, and provide support across various management accounting functions.

What will you do?
•    Assist with the development and implementation of Council's business improvement initiatives. Support the creation of          financial spreadsheets, models, and related software to ensure the accuracy of information for these projects.
•    Assist in the preparation and execution of the Annual Plan and Long-term Plan to meet completion within statutory                  deadlines. Ensure the accuracy of data and reporting in financial spreadsheets and models for annual plans, annual                reports, and long-term plan budgets.
•    Provide necessary support to auditors during the audit process, ensuring smooth interactions and accurate financial              data.
•    Provide oversight and support to the Management Accountant and Accountant, assisting in the coordination of project-          related work, business operations, and day-to-day management accounting functions.

Education & Qualifications
•    A relevant tertiary qualification in accounting, finance or a related field is essential.

•    You have a strong attention to detail and a passion for business improvement.
•    A proven ability to work with financial models, spreadsheets, and budgeting tools.
•    Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.
•    Experience in management accounting or project support would be an advantage.
