Finance Business Partner

The Business
This organisation is one of the largest general aviation businesses in Australasia, providing specialised services across several service lines. The business is in growth mode and currently have more than 250 staff across multiple sites.

The Role
Reporting to the Finance Director and working closely with the CFO you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely management accounting to the finance and business unit executive. There will be a day-to-day focus on financial controls and cashflow for the Leasing business. Other responsibilities include:  

• Preparation and review of the monthly P&L and input into the divisional Balance Sheet. 
• Monitor financial performance against budget, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide insightful analysis and recommendations to drive strategic decision-making.
• Build strong partnerships across the business, taking the time to understand each business unit and their unique challenges and risks
• Play an active role with the wider teams with business case development, providing financial & analytical support. 

To be considered for this position you will ideally be a fully qualified accountant with experience working in large, complex organisations and with strong Excel skills. You must be highly analytical & commercially savvy with the communication & interpersonal skills to influence key stakeholders.
