Finance Manager

We are seeking an awesome Finance Manager on a fixed term 6-month contract working 24-28 hrs p/week (with flexibility as to chosen hours). There is likely to be an opportunity that this contract extends past 6 months or becomes full time at the conclusion. This role reports into the CEO as we continue our high-growth trajectory.

Key Accountabilities & Outcomes:

• Managing day-to-day financial activities, including cash flow, banking

• Preparation of financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes

• Preparation of ME financial reporting

• Assisting in the development and control of financial procedures

• Oversight of payroll processing

• Oversight of the accounts payable function and processes

• Managing YE financial processes, and overseeing annual audit

• Reports directly to the CEO

• One direct report

Key Experience & Attributes:

• Min 5yrs experience in accounting or finance

• CA/CPA/ACCA qualification desirable.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis

• Ability to forecast/model in excel preferable

• Knowledge FMCG sector an advantage but not essential.

• Previous experience in a fast moving small business and working on Xero is helpful

• Excellent relationship and open communication skills

• Equally comfortable working autonomously as well as part of a team.
