As a team we take a collaborative approach and have a working environment where all ideas are heard, evaluated, and tested against our leading goal - to be the world's most human-centered appliance brand.About the RoleAs the Finance Manager, you will be the key Finance Business Partner in the Global Marketing, Digital, Ecosystem and Design & Brand leadership teams, and provide essential analysis and decision support to local and global teams to improve financial performance and drive profitable growth in line with our marketing and digital strategy.Your primary responsibilities include:Leading the analysis of actual operating performance including variances, overheads and promotion spends to budget, with insights and guidance on implications for future performanceLiasing with the commercial teams and management to interpret the financial and operational results and support with business unit monthly reviewsSupporting and driving the centralisation of Global Marketing with governance over total spend by market, type and activity and effectiveness of spendSupporting Ecosystems drive new revenue streams, partnership arrangements, adjacent opportunitiesDeveloping initiatives, strategies, budgets / forecasts, and manage operating processes and programs that improve revenue, efficiencies and cost reductionBusiness case support, e.g. financial modelling for concept papers, supporting commercial thinking and due diligence for new opportunities to evolve and transform the businessOther ad hoc support to the wider Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and Global Finance teamAbout You3+ years post accounting qualification experienceStrong financial understanding and analytical skillsCore understanding of accounting standards and its applicationAbility to identify opportunities to improve business performanceAbility to grasp and understand complex business issues and translate to non-financial personnelJoin Our JourneyAt Fisher & Paykel Appliances, we believe that our people are our greatest assets.
