Financial Accountant

We have an exciting role for a capable financial accountant who is career focused and looking for an opportunity to gain experience in a government agency. 
 
Working in a close knit team, you will be responsible for the preparation of monthly and annual statements, fixed asset accounting, reconciliations, and ensuring ledgers and registers are updated and balanced.
 
To be considered we are looking for a candidate who is:

• CA or nearly CA qualified who has gained and strong technical accounting exposure.
• A background in audit or BAS
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Strong time management skills and can work to deadlines.
• Experience in working with complex systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with all levels of the organisation.
• Have the ability to earn trust and confidence
