We are looking for a Financial Accountant to join the Finance and Operations team based in Tāmaki Makaurau / Auckland for a fixed term contract until 28th March 2025 .
Be part of a team that is responsible for the full financial accounting function for firm entities, including:
Monthly transaction processing and management reporting
Monthly / quarterly (as required) financial reporting, including preparation of financial statements (full Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow etc.)
Review of the firm's management accounts prior to their distribution to the business
Finalising of the month end management reporting and publishing of results to the business.
Ensuring that the required templates for Global monthly and quarterly reporting are prepared for review
Ensuring that all Balance Sheet reconciliations have been prepared and reviewed each month
Ngā pūkenga kei a koe / Skills and experience
Minimum five years + experience as a Financial Accountant
CA/CPA qualified is preferable but if you have the experience and are close to qualifying you may be considered
Previous experience in a Big 4 or second tier professional services accounting firm where your technical accounting skills have been applied
Have used Oracle Financials Accounting or similar software is preferred
Ability to work in an agile, digital environment
