He aha te mahi? What's the role?

Reporting to the Financial Reporting & Insights Lead, this role sits within our Financial Planning & Analysis team and plays a key role in delivering high quality reporting and insights to Zespri leadership, the Board and the wider kiwifruit industry.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing regular actuals reporting for internal, industry and ad hoc business needs


• Producing sales and other performance reporting, including commentary and Board level papers


• Supporting Annual Report production through key graphs and metrics


• Driving continuous improvement of reporting tools and insights, including SAP Analytics Cloud enhancements


• Supporting global forecasting and reporting tools and contributing to project work


• Providing financial analysis to support Communications, Regulatory Affairs, Commercial teams and other stakeholders


• Delivering ad hoc analysis to support commercial decisions and business initiatives

You’re a curious, detail focused finance professional who enjoys working with data and partnering with stakeholders to deliver meaningful insights.

Selection criteria:

• Experience in a financial analysis or reporting role within a commercial organisation


• Advanced Excel skills, with strong capability in Word and PowerPoint


• Experience working with financial systems, forecasting tools and large datasets


• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to see both detail and the bigger picture


• Clear and confident written and verbal communication skills


• Ability to build effective working relationships and collaborate across teams


• A tertiary qualification in finance, accounting or business is desirable. CAANZ (or similar), ERP exposure and experience with analytics or BI tools will be well regarded.
