About the Role

We’re on the lookout for a driven, self-starter to join our Analytics team as our Financial Crime Analyst. Working closely with the Head of Digital Analytics, the Financial Crime Programme Manager and other technical specialists, your role involves supporting, influencing and contributing to the continued development and implementation of core AML/CFT and Fraud programs across the Bank. 

About You

You will be an experienced Analytics professional, confident using a range of tools and with strong knowledge of data management techniques and practices. 

You will be confident extracting and manipulating large datasets, with the aim of providing stakeholders with actionable insights and to assist with managing financial crime risks.

You will have excellent communications skills that enable you to provide clear communication to relevant stakeholders, explaining complex technical concepts.

Ideally, you will have financial crime related knowledge (including AML/CFT, Fraud, Sanctions) and professional experience in a bank or other financial services business. A strong Technology background would be useful, as would project experience.

To be successful in this role you’ll need: 

  • 5+ years’ experience in development within ETL & BI toolsets such as Tableau, SQL analysis & reporting services, PowerBI and Excel.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline such as maths, IT, engineering or similar. 
  • Financial crime specific experience and/or qualification is an advantage for this position.
