Finishing and Despatch Supervisor - Dynamic Team

FINISHING AND DISPATCH SUPERVISOR

We are seeking an enthusiastic, team focused person to lead our Finishing and Dispatch team from the front. This is an ideal role for a person with manufacturing or dispatch experience ready to take the next step in their career.

About us

We are a well established label printing company based in Albany, Auckland. We print a wide variety of self-adhesive labels for many sectors of the market, including food, beverage, health, beauty, promotional and packaging. Our machinery includes digital and conventional printing methods. We pride ourselves on producing a quality product, delivered on time to our customers.

Hours

Standard hours will be Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 5 pm

Flexibility is required to ensure our customer driven deadlines are met.

Experience 

Experience in either Finishing or Despatch essential

Tasks / Duties

• Work with Scheduling to ensure all orders are dispatched on time
• Management of general paper store area and dispatch goods
• Final quality review of customer orders before dispatch
• General dispatch and finishing duties including preparation and packing of orders, rewinding, guillotining, hand fan-folding, etc. 
• Receiving and checking inward goods
• Conduct training and induction of the finishing team
• First point of contact for all finishing team queries
• Monitor finishing stock and ordering all necessary consumables
• Maintaining finishing and dispatch equipment
• Collaborate on improvements with Management
• Assist the production team with stock, as required
• Operating necessary equipment, including a hoist
