Food Coordinator

About the Role:
As our Food Coordinator, you will play a vital role in the smooth and seamless delivery of our food service. You will be the crucial link between the kitchen and the floor, supporting our team of Servers and helping ensure that every guest experience is executed with precision, professionalism, and care. This role is designed as a stepping stone into a Server position, offering invaluable on-the-job training in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the movement of food from the kitchen to guests via our Servers.


• Ensure clear and effective communication between the kitchen and the front of house.


• Understand and support the sequence of service to maintain high operational standards.


• Possess and develop knowledge of food descriptions to assist with running food independently when required.


• Prepare and maintain the pass for service, including polishing and distributing cutlery.


• Keep all food service areas clean and organised, including our glasshouses—vacuuming, glass cleaning, bug and debris removal, and upkeep of surrounding paths.


• Skim the pool of debris each morning to maintain a polished and inviting atmosphere for our guests.


• Prepare hand towels for evening service.
