Forklift Operator / Devanner

Our client is a well-known global freight forwarder based near the airport. 

Requirements

• Physical fit - the ability to lift on a continuous basis
• Counterbalance license with experience
• MPI/AP Accreditation 
• Clear MOJ

Job Responsibilities

• Handle freight in accordance with procedures, including damage, short landed/over landed cargo, and hazardous goods
• Load and unload chiller and freezer goods
• Devanning containers (hand load and unload)
• Complete check-in paperwork
• Ensure MPI inspections and customs inspections are ready for arrival
• Transfer airfreight into the warehouse
• Locate and complete check-in paperwork for export shipments
• Receive export shipments
• Locate goods within the store
• Prepare for loading and packing
• Perform 3PL storage and order picks
