Forklift / Storeperson - PAK'nSAVE Hornby

Due to some short-term absences within our team, we have a Fixed Term Full Time position available for someone with Forklift experience and preferably also Reach Truck. This role is with our Inwards goods team comprising of Forklift driving/ unloading trucks etc.

Days and hours are: Sunday to Thursday 4.30am to 2.00pm = 45 hours per week. We envisage this being for an 8-week period.

Reliability and punctuality is a must. You must have good attention to detail when dealing with and checking off stock coming into the Inwards Goods area as Inventory Integrity starts at our storeroom. The ideal candidate will have a mix of Forklift & Reach Truck experience and must have a current Forklift / Reach Truck Operator certificate. Previous experience in a Logistics / Inwards Goods role specific to our environment would see you at the top of the list. You must be physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting without issue (up to 20kg).

Enthusiasm is a must along with good organisational skills. This is a busy Supermarket, so the position requires a cool head under pressure along with the ability to multitask and work unsupervised. Being a team player, productive and adding to our positive Culture are our priorities. 

The role includes but is not limited to:

• Stock rotation
• Stock filling
• Loss prevention through safe stock handling
• Inwards Goods receipting via SAP so accuracy is a must (full training will be given) 
• Workplace Health & Safety and Food Safety compliance
• Comfortable working on ladders 
• General housekeeping / cleaning of Storeroom, Credit areas
