The Open Home Foundation (OHF) is a Christian Community Response and has a vision that every child and young person has the opportunity to grow up in a secure, loving family and receive a depth of care which will bless them throughout their lives. 

The Open Home Foundation is seeking a part-time Foster Parent Recruiter to join our Whanganui Service Centre, this position is 10 hours per week.  The role is primarily work from home, with a requirement to come into the office in Whanganui regularly to meet with the manager and team.  Flexibility required with hours.  

The successful person will have the following:

• Excellent communication and networking skills


• Marketing knowledge and skills and/or a relevant qualification


• The ability to work alone and also as part of a team.


• The ability to develop and outwork project plans.


• To work weekends & evenings as required


• An in-depth understanding of how the role recognizes the special relationship between Maori and Tauiwi and has a strong empathy with the organization’s special character.


• A full New Zealand driver's license is essential.


• An alignment with the Open Home Foundation’s Christian Kaupapa.
