As a functions and venue coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing all aspects of events held at our venue. Your duties will include coordinating with clients to understand their event requirements, planning and organizing the event logistics, and ensuring all details are executed to perfection.
You will work closely with vendors, staff, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and exceptional experiences for all events.
You will also be in charge of managing bookings for the community centre and overseeing its day-to-day operations. Your responsibilities will include liaising with community members and organizations to schedule facility usage, handling inquiries and bookings, coordinating with staff to ensure appropriate setup for events, and maintaining accurate records of reservations.
Additionally, you will play a key role in fostering relationships with the community, addressing concerns, and promoting the centre's services and programs.
Experience with the Food and Beverage industry is advantageous.
Strong interpersonal skills, organization, invoicing abilities and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
