Blown away by the region's natural beauty and inspired by the Council's forward-thinking vision for the future, and we are now looking for reliable individuals to join our newest team as Gardeners, commencing 1st July, 2024.Reporting to the Team Manager and working closely alongside other individuals, you will be responsible for general garden maintenance across multiplesites across Oamaru. Your duties will include planting, weeding, pruning, and vegetation control tasks - always making sure maintenance is top-notch, timely, and planned, while keeping things safe for the public, your team, and yourself.Who we are looking forIdeally, we would love someone who has practical experience in gardening/horticulture, however, this is not a must. As long as you have an awesome work ethic, with a passion for working outdoors and getting stuck in then you would be a perfect candidate.
