Gate PersonWhat you could be doing:- Unlocking/Locking gates
- Ensuring that all Site Health and Safety protocols and procedures are being followed by construction personnel (within the Gateman’s sphere of influence)
- Be able to follow check lists
- Ushering parking, vehicle movement and materials delivered to site.
- Controlling entry and exist of vehicles on site
- Signing everyone in onsite
- Be involved with site deliveries and schedul
- When they tell you update the whiteboard with delivery details
- Waste management will be coming to pick up rubbish
- Tell them the rubbish is located by ‘Main porter cabin back’
- Collect the docket once it’s complete and give it to Supervisor

Role requirements:- Be available for work between 6am and 6pm (in 6 hour shifts at a time)
- Stand on your feet in various weather conditions
- Own transportation to reach different work sites
- Social skills for interacting with the public and working in a team
- Located in Waikato
- Pass all pre-employment checks (drug screen, criminal history checks)
- Site Safe Certificate, however, not essential upon applying
- Ability to use initiative, ask questions, and contribute towards smooth day-to-day operations on site
