Job Description - General Insurance Broker Support / Claims Administrator - Urgent Hire

We are searching for an expert General Insurance Broker Support / Claims Administrator to join our knowledgeable team at Wealthpoint Limited in Parnell, Auckland.

Our General Insurance brokerage needs an experienced Broker Support individual.

The successful candidate will have 3+ years in a Broker Support role within a general insurance (not life insurance) brokerage and will be practiced at managing general insurance claims across both domestic and commercial general insurance.  Claims management and processing is a key part of this role therefore experience in general insurance claims is essential!

The busy nature of our Brokerage requires this person to hit the ground running therefore previous involvement in all aspects of Broker Support is required:

  • Proactive participation in the renewal process for personal, commercial, and rural renewals. 
  • Arranging quotes for commercial and domestic insurance.
  • General insurance claims management.
  • Process domestic, commercial, and rural new business, endorsements, and cancellations.
  • Client engagement on matters relative to their general insurance arrangements.
  • General insurance supplier stakeholder management.

Our business works with direct clients but mainly works with our network of Financial Advisers who provide general insurance advice to their clients.
