About the Role:
This Executive level role is to help plan, direct and manage performance of businesses. The objective is to grow, maintain and develop business growth.
This role is based in Wellington reporting into the Group Leader, CEO. This role directly impacts the success of the company through the ability to secure new businesses, retain and grow existing, drive revenue and strategically set the course for growth.
The first six or so months of the role will require CEO responsibilities of a successful and growing SaaS company in Wellington.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Drive commercial growth – including senior operational management of businesses
- Leadership of employees/resources – HR/ performance and development plans, recruitment and retention
- Financial planning – including key targets, resourcing, and strategic alignment of goals
About You:
- Leadership: Proven Senior Leader (General Manager, CEO), coach and team player with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills at all levels (50+ staff)
- Leadership: Track record of being a valued member of a senior leadership team, who can be a trusted advisor to a CEO / MD
- Leadership : Track record of extracting performance from a sales team in a low ticket price, high volume market
- Innovation: Prior experience of revenue growth and meeting key targets in organisations with the software industry
- Sales: understanding of SaaS sales and the related metrics and drivers
- Growth: Experience in long term relationship selling
- Strategic Vision: Experience with product management and delivery to market
- Strategic Vision: Ability to manage long term vision of both teams and technology excellence which align with business goals
- Commercial: Strong commercial acumen, has managed a P&L and understands the key components of profitability
- Commercial: Mergers and acquisitions experience – driven to acquire and run your own portfolio
- Communication: Exceptional organisational and time-management skills, particularly within a fast-changing environment
- Learning: A truly inquisitive nature , keeping abreast of technology and industry trends
