General Manager - Dynamic Team

In this position you will lead with vision and efficiency.  You will join a leading player in the biochemistry sector as the General Manager.  You will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight to ensure the company's continued success. Reporting directly to the Board, you'll play a crucial role in achieving revenue, margin, and profitability targets.

Duties:

• Provide effective leadership and vision for the company's growth.
• Oversee all aspects of operations, including manufacturing, sales, quality systems, research & development, customer service, procurement, finance, human resources, and health and safety.
• Develop annual operating plans and budgets aligned with strategic goals.
• Manage risks, particularly regarding the security of company IP.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial statements and compliance with relevant legislation.
• Champion corporate social responsibility and ethical decision-making.
• Foster a cohesive and capable team culture.

Skills and Experience:

• Proven leadership experience in a similar role (within food, pharma or nutraceutical manufacturing)
• Experience in export of products is desirable.
• Strong strategic planning and financial management skills.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and industry standards.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
