About role :

As the GM Finance, you'll oversee financial planning and analysis for New Zealand, managing finance projects across Australia and New Zealand (ANZ). You'll lead corporate reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning efforts, providing financial support to business operations. 

Additionally, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams offering financial insights and analysis to drive performance and facilitate strategic decision-making for the leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct financial planning and analysis for New Zealand and managing finance projects across Australia and New Zealand (ANZ).
• Lead corporate reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning efforts.
• Provide financial support to business operations, including modelling and profitability analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to drive financial performance.
• Foster an inclusive work environment and support talent development initiatives.
• Facilitate strategic decision-making by providing financial insights and analysis as a business partner to the leadership team.

Role requirements

• Professional qualification (CA, CPA, or CFA) and a degree in Finance or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of FP&A experience, preferably in logistics or manufacturing.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience with project management methodologies and SAP/OneStream knowledge preferred.
• Experience working with go-to-market teams.
• Proficiency in SQL report and database development and advanced Excel skills.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies and practices to effectively oversee financial aspects of projects, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, budgets to provide financial insights and guidance to optimize project outcomes and mitigate financial risks.
• Knowledge of relevant financial regulations, compliance standards, and reporting requirements in New Zealand and Australia.
• Competency in costing, pricing, and Activity-Based Costing (ABC) methodologies to support strategic decision-making.
