Due to an upcoming retirement, we are seeking an exceptional General Manager Growth to join our Senior Leadership Team and lead the next phase of our growth journey.

Key responsibilities

• Lead our growth strategy – Translate vision into clear, executable initiatives with measurable outcomes


• Build a unified growth engine – Integrate all revenue-generating activities (we call it “selling the stack”)


• Drive go-to-market performance – Lift acquisition, retention, and member value


• Deepen sector engagement – Strengthen presence across FMCG, healthcare, DIY and the primary sector and expand into new sectors


• Develop strategic partnerships – Grow GS1 NZ’s ecosystem to unlock new opportunities


• Own our commercial performance – Deliver against revenue, margin, and ROI targets


• Champion innovation & transformation – Improve capability, scalability, and ways of working


• Lead and develop teams – Build a high-performing, aligned growth function

What you’ll bring

• Senior leadership experience in growth, commercial, or strategy roles


• A proven track record of delivering sustainable, measurable growth


• A strong ability to connect strategy with execution


• Experience integrating multiple revenue streams and go-to-market functions


• Deep expertise in market development and partnerships


• Strong commercial and financial acumen


• Outstanding stakeholder management and influencing skills


• Experience operating within complex ecosystems or industry environments
