Generator Maintenance Service Technician - Leading Industry Pay

Dependable Power Limited is an established, well respected New Zealand owned and operated diesel-powered generator company, installing & servicing generators for over 45 years in New Zealand and the South Pacific. Due to our continuing growing reputation and work portfolio, we are looking for a Generator Maintenance Service Technician to join our friendly team based in Avondale. 

What are we looking for? 

We are looking for a customer focused, electrical or mechanically minded Service Technician for monthly, annual generator testing and servicing. Predominantly based in Auckland with the possibility of nationwide travel.

This role could suit a limited license electrician, training will be provided to the successful applicant. 

The successful applicant must be able to operate autonomously as well as within a great team.

Skills and Attributes 

EST License (an advantage).

Good communication skills and client focused.

Display problem-solving skills.

Ability to convey technical/mechanical information.

Heavy Diesel experience (an advantage).

Minimum Class 1 Full driver’s license with ability to drive Manual Transmission.

Strong health and safety focus. 

Experience in H&S paperwork (an advantage).

NZ residency or valid NZ work visa.
