Global Accounts Manager (Internal Applicants Only)

Comvita is currently looking for a new role - Global Accounts Manager to manage the end-to-end Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.  This is a commercially critical role focused on managing high-volume transactions, distributor and retail customer accounts, supplier payments, working capital optimisation, and strengthening financial controls across multiple entities and currencies.  

About the Role 

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, this role ensures accurate, timely processing, strong cashflow management, effective stakeholder relationships, and continuous improvement of financial processes, while leading and supporting the accounts teams. You will also drive process improvement, automation, and scalability as the business continues to grow internationally. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Oversee global new customer and supplier set up processes  

• Oversee settlement and reconciliation of customer accounts, including customer deductions  

• Monitor debtor ageing and proactively drive DSO reduction 

• Lead credit control process across global markets 

• Manage end-to-end supplier invoice processing across global supply chain partners 

• Oversee payments for manufacturers, freight providers, marketing agencies, and operational vendors 

• Assist with banking platform administration globally 

• Ensure accurate inventory-related accruals and reconciliations 

• Manage multi-currency payment runs and foreign exchange considerations 

• Assist with cash flow forecasting and working capital performance 

• Drive improvements in cash conversion cycle 

• Ensure compliance with audit and regulatory requirements 

• Systems & Process Improvement 

• Lead and develop the AP/AR team 

• Build strong cross-functional partnerships with Sales, Supply Chain, and Operations 

• Provide training on financial controls and process compliance 

What You’ll Bring 

• 5+ years’ experience in finance within FMCG, Consumer Goods, or Health Products (desirable) 

• Strong experience managing high-volume AP and AR transactions 

• Strong understanding of inventory-linked billing and supply chain finance 

• Multi-entity and multi-currency experience 

• ERP system expertise (QAD or similar)
