Job Description - Global Growth Marketing Manager

About the opportunity 


We're hiring a Global Growth Marketing Manager to lead First Table's diner acquisition across New Zealand, Australia, UK and Ireland. It's a brand-new, senior role for a commercially sharp growth marketer who wants real ownership  and the room to prove what they can do.



You'll report to our Chief Marketing Officer and work shoulder-to-shoulder with Marketing, Product, and Data, and our regional teams to shape how First Table grows. You'll balance short-term performance with long-term demand, and pull together data, experimentation, sharp creative and commercial judgement into one connected growth engine.



This isn’t a “manage the ads” role. It’s an opportunity to influence how a global consumer marketplace invests, experiments, and scales.

About the role


You’ll own First Table’s global diner acquisition strategy, deciding where and how we invest to drive sustainable, profitable growth.


You’ll lead the relationship with our performance agency, shape channel mix and media investment, and work closely with internal teams to improve the journey from first touch through to first booking.



Growth at First Table is shaped by more than campaign performance. You’ll help connect paid media, brand demand, organic growth, product experience, creative, data, and customer value into one clear growth system.



It's a role for someone who can zoom out to the big picture, dive into the detail when it counts, and turn insight into action across multiple markets.



What you’ll be doing



  • Own diner acquisition strategy across New Zealand, Australia, and UKI

  • Lead channel mix, media investment, and acquisition budget allocation

  • Develop market-specific growth plans, with a strong focus on scaling UKI demand

  • Lead our performance agency relationship, from strategy and briefs through to outcomes

  • Use CAC, ROAS, payback period, LTV, conversion rates, and channel ROI to guide investment decisions

  • Partner with Marketing, Product, Data, and Engineering, to improve first-booking conversion

  • Champion experimentation across audiences, creative, messaging, offers, landing pages, app store experiences, and user journeys

  • Build clear reporting and recommendations that help the business understand what drives sustainable growth



What you’ll bring



  • At least 5 years’ experience in growth, digital, acquisition, or performance marketing, ideally within a marketplace, app-based, subscription, product-led, or high-growth consumer business

  • Strong hands-on experience across paid acquisition channels, particularly Google and Meta

  • Commercial confidence managing meaningful budgets and making investment recommendations

  • Experience managing performance agencies or external partners

  • A strong understanding of how brand, creative, media, conversion, and customer value work together

  • Confidence using growth metrics such as CAC, ROAS, LTV, payback period, conversion rates, and channel ROI

  • Working knowledge of experimentation, attribution, SEO, GEO, CRO, ASO, and organic acquisition levers

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to turn complex insight into clear commercial recommendations
