The Pukekohe Golf Club is the ‘hidden golf jewel of Auckland”. With its mature parkland setting and challenging layout, Pukekohe is one of Auckland's best courses. Only 30mins from Auckland CBD, this is a course not to be missed. 

The club provides exceptional facilities and services to its members, guests, and the community including a Pro Shop run by our Golf Professional, a busy calendar of golf competitions and events and a great hospitality offering.

Our club professional of 20 years is moving on, so a business opportunity has come up for an energetic and passionate Golf Professional to take over the running of our Pro Shop. The Pro Shop is currently run as a separate business from the club so this is an ideal opportunity for some one that is experienced in retail, coaching and golf operations. Along with running the retail business of the Pro Shop there are also other responsibilities to the club involved in this position of Director of Golf. 

Key Responsibilities to the Club: 

• Deliver day-to-day golf operations 

• Oversee the operational and maintenance duties for the golf shop, coaching services and golf cart fleet. 

• Promote the club and use of club facilities 

• Administration of all club competitions and tournaments 

• Management of the clubs Dotgolf system

 • Collect various fees on behalf of the club 

• Act as the club’s Director of Golf 

• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation 

• Lead member attraction and retention initiatives through a variety of programmes and support the onboarding process for new members

• Be proficient in working with Dotgolf 

• Be career driven and have a passion for the industry 

• Exhibit excellent organisational, technological, and time management skills 

• Have experience in running and organising successful golf events

• Possess high energy and a genuine desire to interact actively with the membership on a professional and hospitable level 

• Have strength in working closely with management and other key stakeholders to develop and execute the club's vision
