The Opportunity | Te āheinga
We’re looking for a motivated Graduate Landscape Architect to join our Strategic Planning team on a fixed-term contract through to February 2027, covering parental leave. This is an exciting chance to kick-start your professional journey while contributing to meaningful projects that shape the future of our District.
In this role, you’ll support the development, implementation and integrated planning of Council’s existing and future infrastructure. Your work will help inform spatial planning across both natural and built environments, ensuring our District grows in a way that is sustainable, well‑designed and community‑focused.
You’ll collaborate with planners, designers, engineers and community stakeholders, gaining hands-on experience across a variety of landscape and strategic planning initiatives. If you’re passionate about creating great places and ready to apply your academic knowledge to real‑world projects, this role offers an ideal opportunity to learn, grow and make a genuine impact.
