Job Description:

Patriot Systems is seeking a motivated and versatile Graduate Software Developer to join our team in Christchurch. As a Full Stack Developer, you will be part of a team responsible for developing a market-leading, internationally recognized product used for mission-critical applications in the Security Industry.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the development of our core product using React, SPAs, C#, MS SQL, Mobile Apps, Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, design, and implement new features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues that arise during development, with some rostered out-of-hours emergency support cover if needed (compensation provided).
• Participate in code review and contribute to team development efforts.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Eligible to work in New Zealand.
• Working knowledge of C#, Java, and JavaScript is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of React, Single Page Application (SPA), SQL Database, HTML, ASP.Net Core, Android, and iOS is desirable.

Location and Work Environment:

Patriot Systems is setting up a new office in Kaiapoi / Waimakariri on the northern side of Christchurch. The successful applicant will work from this office and join existing staff based in the area.
