Graduate Veterinarian - Mixed

Tararua Vets is a vibrant mixed animal practice with clinics in both Pahiatua and Dannevirke.  Due to a recent grad moving on after 3 years with us, the Pahiatua team are looking for their next superstar new graduate.   We are a true mixed practice servicing Dairy, Sheep & Beef, Companion Animals and Equine.    Our veterinary team is a mix of youth and experience with all the senior vets having at least 20 years’ experience in their chosen area.   Our Pahiatua clinic has a strong history of developing graduates in a supportive clinic with great mentoring.   Tararua Vets is part of the Totally Vets Group which gives our vets direct access to specialist CA vets, the Regional After-Hours Clinic and dairy nutritionists.

We are looking for an energetic and motivated young vet to join our team in a true mixed animal role with a large animal focus.  We are looking for a great team player with excellent communication skills and a strong desire to learn and give everything a go.   In return we can provide you with a work vehicle, phone, generous CPD and a fun learning environment where you will have many opportunities to get stuck in.

Pahiatua is a small rural service town within 40mins of Palmerston North.   Our district well known for its outdoors, especially tramping and fishing.  Our town has many active sports clubs, a young farmers club, a range of churches, a repertory society, cinema and more.
