Groundskeeper for a Kindy/Childcare

Come join us at Wondernauts, a not-for-profit community childcare located in the beautiful grounds of Ruakura.
We would love to have another pair of hands to help us maintain our well-established beautiful grounds that we are so proud of. We currently have a volunteer come on a Wednesday morning, but think this might be a job for two! (doesn't have to be on a Wednesday!)
Tasks include trimming hedges, and small shrubs/trees, doing lawn edges with a weed/line trimmer, spraying, blowing/sweeping up trimmings, fertilizing and anything else to keep our grounds nice and tidy. There is always water blasting to be done too if someone is so inclined! Knowledge of fruit trees would be a bonus, as we try to grow as much of our fruit as possible, and we have pear, plums, apple, mandarin and feijoa trees here.
All tools are provided, as are lots of chatty children who will be very interested in what you are doing and the tools you are using!

Requirements:

Previous gardening/landscaping experience would be nice, but we are happy for newbies. Experience with trimming hedges and fruit trees would be a bonus but not required.
All the tools are provided to make the job as easy as possible.

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

3-6 hours a week.
