Job Description - Guest Experience Attendant

Job Description

We are currently looking for a Guest Experience Attendant who is passionate about providing exceptional customer service to join our team and work at Oaks Wellington Hotel on a part time basis. 

Theses position will have the opportunity to work in both the busy Front Office and the fast paced Food and Beverage department.

Key Responsibilities Include: 

  • Provide a warm and friendly reception to guests upon arrival, ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in process while addressing any immediate inquiries or needs.
  • Maintain clear and courteous communication with guests, colleagues, and stakeholders across various channels, including in-person, phone, and email, to provide exceptional service.
  • Oversee the accurate processing of guest reservations, updates, and special requests, utilising property management systems to ensure seamless scheduling and availability.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for guests throughout their stay, offering prompt assistance, resolving issues, and providing personalised recommendations to enhance their experience.

Hourly rate: $25.00 NZD per hour (excluding KiwiSaver) 

Qualifications

To be successful, you will have:

  • Have a friendly, positive attitude 
  • Barista experience or willing to learn
  • Be impeccably presented with excellent communication skills
  • Be reliable and act with a sense of urgency
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts Monday - Sunday, including mornings, afternoons, evenings and split shifts, as well as public holidays as required.
