Guidewire Program Delivery Lead - Australia and New Zealand

About the role:

We are seeking experienced Program Delivery Leads to join our delivery teams across Australia and New Zealand.

You will bring strong program leadership experience across Agile and hybrid delivery environments, with a proven ability to lead complex, multi‑stream transformation programmes. Hands‑on Guidewire delivery experience is advantageous but not essential.

This role is accountable for end‑to‑end program delivery, building high‑performing teams, and ensuring successful outcomes for both clients and delivery teams.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

• Providing end‑to‑end leadership for complex business and technology transformation programmes, including Guidewire implementations and enhancements.

• Leading the delivery of large, multi‑stream programmes using Agile, SAFe, and hybrid delivery approaches.


• Acting as a servant leader, creating a supportive environment that enables teams to perform at their best.


• Providing day‑to‑day leadership for cross‑functional delivery teams, including developers, testers, business analysts, architects, and onshore/offshore resources.


• Owning delivery planning, forecasting, and execution across sprints, releases, and milestonesActing as the primary point of accountability for delivery, proactively managing scope, dependencies, risks, and issues.


• Building and maintaining strong, trusted relationships with client stakeholders, sponsors, and product owners to ensure alignment on priorities and outcomes.


• Ensuring delivery aligns with agreed solution architecture, Guidewire best practices, and cloud standards.


• Facilitating and governing Agile ceremonies (planning, reviews, retrospectives) and embedding effective ways of working.


• Managing vendor, partner, and offshore delivery contributions to ensure seamless integration and performance.


• Tracking and reporting delivery progress, financials, and risks, providing clear and transparent updates to senior stakeholders.


• Championing continuous improvement, delivery excellence, team wellbeing, and strong governance across the programme

Experience & Background:

You will bring:

• Proven program or senior delivery management experience within complex transformation environments.


• A track record of successfully delivering large, multi‑stream programs using Agile, SAFe, or hybrid methodologies.


• Strong leadership presence, with the ability to build and motivate high‑performing teams across diverse roles and backgrounds.


• Excellent communication, negotiation, and risk management skills.


• Experience delivering insurance or enterprise technology platforms (Guidewire experience is advantageous).
