Gym Manager - with Growth Opportunities

Oxygen Fitness is a 24/7, world class gym in the heart of Alexandra Park, Epsom. We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic gym manager to work closely with the Gym Director to ensure the overall success of the business. This is a role for a person with a passion for fitness who can help our gym
grow, support the gym community, and will represent the gym in a positive and professional manner. 

Hours:
39 hours per week with Saturdays and Sundays off.
Monday & Tuesday: 10am - 7pm 
Wednesday & Thursday: 9am - 4pm

Friday: 6am - 1pm 

Responsibilities:
- Day to day operation of the gym, including administrative and customer service tasks
- Promoting a positive and inclusive gym environment
- Building meaningful relationships with members, staff, and the local community
- Delivering new membership sales through contacting leads, following up with potential members, and community outreach
- Establishing business and corporate partnerships to establish presence in the community
- Ensuring an exceptional experience for members and prospects
- Induction of new members, including equipment demonstration and health and safety briefing
- Management of personal trainers and Assistant Manager, which includes supporting staff to reach their goals
- Dealing with telephone and email enquiries
- Creating video and photo content for social media pages and website
- Organising gym events and assisting with gym challenges and competitions
- Assisting with maintenance of gym including ensuring equipment is clean and dealing with maintenance issues as they arise.

Qualifications and experience
- Experience in the health and fitness industry
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Experience in marketing and sales
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Good knowledge of social media platforms
- Good level of oral and written business communications
- Excellent telephone manner
- Success in outreach and community engagement

Remuneration
$65,000 - $85,000
Base salary of $65,000 per annum plus ability to get sales incentive bonus of $20,000
