Take a look at this exciting opportunity....Foxglove Bar & Kitchen, a prestigious waterfront venue and part of Kapura, a hospitality group with over 35 venues across the North Island, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Bartender to join our dynamic team.If you have a passion for bartending, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to lead a team, we want to hear from youThe start date for this role will be during October, with a specific date to be discussed during the interview process.The hourly rate will range from $ $30.00 per hour, depending on your previous experience.In this role, you will:Lead and manage a team of bartenders, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining high service standards.Oversee the creation and implementation of innovative cocktail menus, keeping up with current trends and ensuring a diverse selection of premium beverages.Train and mentor bartenders in all aspects of mixology, drink preparation, and service etiquette.Maintain a wellstocked bar inventory, manage ordering and receiving of supplies, and ensure accurate recordkeeping.Provide exceptional customer service, engaging with patrons, offering recommendations, and ensuring a memorable experience for all guests.Demonstrate a full understanding of costing goods to optimize profitability and minimize waste.Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging teamwork and professional growth among staff.Adhere to all health and safety regulations and guidelines, ensuring a safe environment for both employees and guests.Handle any customer concerns or complaints efficiently and professionally.Key requirements for the role:Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a highend or premium bar environment.Extensive knowledge of mixology, spirits, wines, and craft beers.Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner.Proven ability to work under pressure, multitask, and prioritize effectively in a fastpaced environment.Creative and innovative mindset, able to develop unique and visually appealing cocktails.Strong organizational and communication skills.A high level of attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as required.Additional competencies:Demonstrated ability to manage inventory and control costs.Proficient in using bar management software and POS systems.Knowledge of local and international spirits, including their production methods and flavor profiles.Familiarity with industry trends, new techniques, and emerging ingredients.Ability to collaborate with the kitchen team to create harmonious food and beverage pairings.How to apply:We look forward to hearing from you #J-18808-Ljbffr
